New Killzone Game Confirmed

Guerrilla Games has confirmed the continuation of their Killzone franchise.
Magazine EDGE revealed the confirmation of a new shooter by explaining it as a “Killzone-follow up”. The magazine, which was received by subscriber’s today, states that “the bulk of Guerrilla’s staff (is soldiering) on with the next Killzone instalment.” Killzone 3 and its predecessor’s Senior Producer, Steven Ter Heide, is described as the “game director on the current Killzone project”.
Guerrilla Games’ studio recruiter, Adrian Smith, said the development of Killzone has been going on for quite some time now. Smith also said “we’ve got to continue the Killzone franchise”.
Developer Guerrilla have previously listed job listing further hinting at the existence of a new Killzone title prior to EDGE’s confirmation. The only officially announced title in the PlayStation exclusive series is the game’s Vita version, which is currently being developed by Sony Computer Entertainment’s Cambridge studio.
It’s unclear if the game will be a direct sequel to Killzone 3 or a brand new Killzone experience, and if it’ll be releasing for the PS3, or a new home console from Sony PlayStation.
